Positive Digital Solutions is searching for a solid design rockstar to join our experienced team! We are an 8-person team located in Solana Beach, CA. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the initial launch of our new product, SuggestionBox.com

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in current web standards, tableless design, CSS, information design and has a strong grasp of graphic design for print. He/she must be passionate about the web, follow the latest design trends and be able to innovate on what they already know. If you love the simplicity of what the web has to offer and can apply traditional design principles to create something that is truly innovative, we have an opening for you.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our user experience strategies including branding, creative direction and user profiling initiatives. This is a hands-on role and you will be directing others, creating layouts, user interfaces and interactions using the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator and other tools you prefer. Aside from the direct web application; s/he will be involved in creating marketing materials and translating all business objectives into innovative deliverables.

What We Want:

• 3+ years experience in web design or interaction design roles • Ability to manage and direct Junior level roles • Brainstorm and collaborate with technology and marketing teams • Create flowcharts, wireframes, and design layouts for user research and process design • Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator • Ability to communicate and multi-task across teams • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Self-starter • Deadline-driven • Bachelors degree in a multimedia and/or graphic design preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered

What Would Be Bonus:

• Hands-on visual design skills to complement user interaction skills • Experience with B2B and B2C brand creation • Good understanding of current web technologies (html, css, javascript) • Usability training • Web Standards design and Microformats

Salary is very competitive, DOE and includes the following benefits after 90 days: health benefits, paid time off and standard holidays.
