Mobile Web designer/developer

Budget: Less than $100

We are currently looking for freelance Mobile web designers/developers with skills in both design as well as development to fill this versatile role in our company. The role will mainly be focused around creating mobile internet sites for our global client base. The sites will be created either using our mobile internet site builder or built as a custom development, so a good knowledge of XHTML and CSS is required and any knowledge of mobile web development is a good but not essential.
Graphic design skills are also needed as we are often required to design the sites as well.
Mobile is a new and exciting field which its standards are always changing so it is essential to keep up to date with the most current standards.

Responsibilities
·         Creating mobile internet sites using our mVate platform
·         Managing and updating current mobile sites
·         Building mobile sites from scratch using XHTML and CSS
·         Producing static screen designs for mobile services

Person Specification
·         Excellent knowledge of XHTML and CSS to modern standards
·         Good graphic design skills to be able to produce interesting, creative and usable mobile sites.
·         Must be able to keep up with the ever changing mobile technologies
·         Strong understanding of current versions of software packages such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
·         Background knowledge of the internet (e.g. Servers, Domains FTPs)
·         Previous experience of developing or designing for mobile is a bonus but not required
·         Knowledge of XML and XSL is a bonus but not required
·         Knowledge of sever side code such as PHP and ASP.NET is a bonus but not required
·         Knowledge of databases such as MySQL is a bonus but not required  

Rates offered: $15-$20 hr
