Freelancer for a portal design

Budget: $500 to $1,000

i have just registered a domain name relating to a store directoy in a single city location for computers.

I kind of like the website FixYa for this sort of thing, and certainly nothing too fancy or design focused. I want to run adwords on the site also

Items to include in web site design:  
- Promotion computer stores offering special promotions
- A WP blog page with feature links off the main page for new posts; i’d like - to see the links added automatically when I make a new post
- A database search facility for stores by suburb

I would prefer someone in Australia and possibly Perth but not that important. At this stage I only look for 1 main page and the other items mentioned.
