Freelance/independent developer for regular collaboration

Little Kelpie is a small creative studio. We founded the studio to promote the efforts of people who are making a difference in the community, arts, and cultural landscape.

Little Kelpie strives to provide communication aesthetics and strategy to organizations with limited budgets. We collaborate with other small studios on certain projects, enabling access to a high level of expertise while keeping expenses low.

We're looking for another developer to add into the mix of our go-to freelance creative team. We're looking for someone who:
* Has at least four years of proven development experience, including implementation of Expression Engine. We use EE on every site we build, so you have to know it, use it, and like it.
* Wants to create a solid long-term partnership with another studio, contribute ideas and advice for each project, and work with us almost daily via IM, Skype, etc. We don't want to work with a robot who simply spits out templates.
* Has their own studio, or is working for themselves. If you have a full-time day job for another company, please don't contact us.
* Takes deadlines seriously and meets those deadlines for every project you take on.

We'd also prefer to collaborate with someone who has a genuine interest in working with non-profit organizations. (We're passionate about non-profits, the arts, and taking an active role in our community. Ideally, you have the mind of a developer and the heart of an activist!)
