Freelance writer for up and coming community newspaper

We are looking for freelance writers for a community newspaper in Essex County Ontario.  We prefer writers who live in this area, as our intention is to be a true community paper and not one that has a local address but buys all its material from outside of the immediate area.  The paper is currently based in Amherstburg Ontario, but will cover stories from Harrow, Essex, Kingsville, Leamington, and Pelee Island as well.  We have several sections to the paper we need writers for:   Country Life-gardening, landscaping, cooking, canning, wine, farming, animals, animal birth announcements. Heritage-buildings, monuments, farms, and people. Outdoors-hunting, fishing, camping, survival, personal stories. On the town-events, day-trips, things to do Kids only-stories, art, games forts, crafts   We expect to obtain participation from the communities itself for some story writing, but we recognize the need for professional writers also.
