The Role – Interactive Multimedia Developer The Interactive Multimedia Developer is responsible for all technical aspects of the project production cycle. This includes undertaking the more complex tasks of architecture and development of multimedia projects. The position requires an individual with a demonstrated technical aptitude and solid “non-technical” communication skills. The candidate must possess the ability to effectively communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience. The right candidate should possess a strong teamwork ethic and a desire to get the job done. This candidate will also be responsible for pitching in wherever necessary to assure success of the project. Primary Proficiencies and Experience: · Advanced experience with Flash, ActionScripting, HTML, JavaScript, XML and CSS development · Rich-media technologies (Point-Roll, Eyeblaster, Dart / Motif, ARM) · Experience incorporating dynamic data into Flash/Flex · Solid understanding of aesthetic web optimization · Proficient with PhotoShop / Illustrator · Knowledge of cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility issues and design constraints Secondary Proficiencies and Experience: · Video editing suites (After Effects, Premiere, Quick Time) · Experience with digitizing video and audio for web · Adobe Flex 2 technology and framework (MXML/ActionScript 3.0) · Mobile Technologies Responsibilities: · Collaboration on and validation of sitemaps, wire-frames and creative concepts with the other agency disciplines · Collaboration and validation of project documentation and deliverables · Communication with interactive program managers on any issues or questions requiring clarification from either the client or account team · Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously · Attention to detail with effective problem solving skills · Follow through to final deliverable to assure quality of finished product · Ability to accurately estimate the time and effort needed to perform a task · Interest in staying abreast of current interactive technologies and trends Salary Info DOE, Highly competitive if not above market.
