Political Campaign Site Design

Anywhere
This job is no longer available. But don't worry - we have lots of new freelance jobs for you!
Budget: Don't Know

Our company is looking for a freelancer to design the website of a candidate for governor. This candidate is a mainstream Republican. The selected designer will be handsomely rewarded if he or she is able to produce a high quality site. In short want want an exceptional site, not just a good site. This specific job will be to handle the entire design process from graphics to layout with an end production in a PSD format.

The ideal designer will:

* Value quality and creativity as a passion, rather than just another job

* Be a detail freak -- will not rest until every pixel is perfect

* Be on the cutting edge of the latest web-trends (the site must be fresh 18 months from now)

* Continue to be available for minor graphic design projects (such as banners) until November 2010

* Have a up-to-date portfolio that we can review prior to hiring

* Have decent communications skills and willingness to keep our team up to date on the current standing of the project (in our business not knowing is worse than knowing something bad)

* Understand the coding process (will be coding for Drupal) and how easily and accurately your vision for the site will be realistically implemented.

* Understand that the site's sole goal is to get a candidate elected. The site must appeal to the average-joe, but at the same time the site needs to exhibit a creative vibe. (remember we in the tech industry do not see the screen with the same eyes as the average person)

* Location is not at all a requirement, but a Nashville or Atlanta (or nearby) based designer would be wonderful

If you do not have an extensive established history of webdesign projects we still want to give you a chance because we believe that the most creative talent is often the college student who just discovered photoshop a couple years ago. If you believe you can do a great campaign site but are not sure you will be able to prove it to us, then still contact us and be honest and we may be able to work out something.

Well there you go -- I hope we can find a quality designer over the next week or so. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact us. We can provide examples of successful campaign websites if you desire.
