We are seeking a highly talented web designer needed on a freelance basis. Candidates must have exceptional design skills and a proven ability to design user-friendly interactive solutions. He/she is responsible for exploring and conceptualizing creative solutions and will be exposed to a diverse range of clients and projects. We’re looking for a truly creative thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Create designs based on wireframes and other descriptive requirements that align with the client’s business strategy and vision • Must be able to translate relationship between content, visual design, user interface and technology • Understands technology and is able to communicate ideas to Web Developer • Developing templates and flow charts for e-commerce applications. • Demonstrate high standards of workmanship, attention to detail and adherence to industry standards • Drive project turn-around

Experience/Required Skills

• Bachelors Degree in related field • 3-5 years of professional web and graphic design experience with a proven understanding of interface design principles • Highly creative, technically savvy, self-motivated with a broad understanding of user-centric web design • Proficiency in PhotoShop, Illustrator with knowledge of CSS, HTML/XHTML, • Flash with some knowledge of ActionScript a plus • Experience with diverse content types – static, dynamic, rich-media, etc. • An awareness of current trends in design and web site development and the tools necessary to build interactive projects. • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility with broad-based knowledge of Internet best practices • Ability to take direction to meet creative and business objectives • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
