Freelance Junior Developer (part-time, student a-ok)

I am looking for a junior dev to help with some overflow in my development work I have coming up early next year. Ideally you have experience with Ruby on Rails, but I am open to anyone who has credentials in another language and MVC framework ... I am happy to mentor a junior who wants to break into Rails and can demonstrate they grok programming. It is probably better if you are quick study with good fundamentals than a Rails-Guru who freaks at the first sign of something new. There will be 20 hours a week of work and you can work whenever as long as any deadlines are met. Things I use that you will need to know or be able to come up to speed on: - Ruby on Rails and a bunch of plugins - rSpec - Capistrano - GIT and/or Subversion - MySQL - JQuery - Agile and Remote Development - MVC and Object Orientation - Other stuff There may also be some PHP to do, for which I am sorry, but if you know PHP, awesome! Initially we would start with a month's trial (fully paid, of course) and look to build an ongoing relationship from there.
