Online Flyer Advertising System We are currently looking for a Ruby on Rails developer for an internal web application. This system most be simple, robust, secure and scaleable for future needs and wants. The system will require vast knowledge of the following areas; - Ruby on Rails 2.1 and 2.2 RC1 - Various Plugins such as TinyMCE, ImageMagick and other manipulation modules. Re-usable code and OOP programming. XHTML/CSS with broad knowledge of Search Engine Optimization. Photoshop manipulation skills for any needed slicing and/or editing of design elements. Javascript/DOM/Ajax will be required for various aspects of the system and the back-end. Largely commented and modules will be needed due to further expansion in the future. The programmer who will take this job will be responsible for the following; Completing an NDA to have a further document sent to them. Sign a contracting agreement with our company to ensure of a reasonable budget and time line. Give updates via our online project management system daily. Be reachable by phone 24 hours a day. Advise of any foreseeable problems with specifications before accepting the project and/or during the project. Fine with MSN, GoogleTalk, Skype, Video Conferencing and Landline Phone Communication. The programmer will need meet the following criteria; Must be 18 years or older. Must by from Canada, USA, UK or Australia Must by a freelance developer and not associated with any company. Must be ready to work on deadlines and not specific hours of the day. Must be fine with being paid in increments depending on milestones in work via Paypal payment method. Thank You, Have a good day.
