Web Designer with UI Skills

Budget: $2,500 to $5,000

We're looking for someone that loves design and can appreciate the satisfaction it brings clients to have something that is simple, sexy and understandable. 
When you look at something you are always making comments on how it would better laid out so much that your are pushing border line annoying to your friends. 
You are always thinking less is more pushing developers to remove or rethink features for a better user experience. You know when to create something from scratch and when there is no need to reinvent the wheel. Shopping from websites with bad design bothers you. 
They might call you a digital neat freak. A user experience analyst.  A branding expert. A design innovator who is creating new layouts others want to copy.  
If you were working for us here is some of the things you would of done last week:

• Created a rough mockup for our new startup products sales website
  
• Created rough logo concepts for our new startup product 
  
• Designed a landing page for one of our WordPress plugins that is ready for sale
  
• Designed a squeeze page for our new product
  
• Created concepts for the for the UI of our new online software.
  
• Taken a theme from a site like Theme Forest and repurposed the branding/design to create a JV Launch Page for a new product we are launching
  
• Designed a social branding profile  (google+, twitter, Facebook pages, etc) for a high profile athlete and entrepreneur.
  
• Worked with our programmer to create a user interface for the new plugin/software he is developing 
  
• Worked with our front end developer to take your designs from PSD to XHTML
  
• Designed random small graphics like buy buttons, banners, ebook covers, social media icons, and other small graphics 
  
• Worked with management to design A/B design split tests to see whether a blue button converts better than a red button. 
  

A degree is not required but wouldn't hurt. We are looking for someone in the Raleigh Durham area but it is not required. You are open to work in  a environment where you will need to work on more than one project at a time and provide rapid mockups turned to finished pieces based off of feedback.
