What’s the goal?
To write copy for BensBargains.com in a “geeky-cool” voice.

What’s the “geeky-cool” voice?
In a nutshell, we’re the proverbial kids in a candy store – but with adult purchasing power (credit cards!) Um, we want to spend wisely, of course.

What does that mean, really?
We’re passionate and enthusiastic about deals and want to share them with our audience. We’re knowledgeable and credible about the deals, the stores, and the products. Lastly, we have fun doing it and are funny, too. We’re positive and humorous rather than sarcastic and edgy.


Do you think you have what it takes?
Stores are sensitive to how their brand is depicted, which means we have less latitude with how we would present them in a “geeky-cool” way. That said, we can still have a “lighter” presentation rather than totally “dry.”

This is a 100% freelance, telecommuting position. Assignments, writing, editing, and submissions are all handled through our online system or through email with the Content Manager. All you need is a computer, Internet access, and the ability to deliver “geeky-cool” copy on time.
