Engineering Intern for an education technology startup

Budget: $500 to $1,000

Edvento.com is a socially adaptive, test prep platform which provides an interesting, gamified interface to make learning a fun experience. It is backed by a Founder team comprising of IT-BHU / ISB / IIM alumni. Further along, we have an exciting roadmap ahead which involves making a solid platform for giving us content breadth and implementing machine learning algorithms to give us a powerful adaptive learning product. We are expanding our team at a very fast pace and feature releases are happening ahead of schedule. And now, we are looking for a UI engineer. We need someone who is an expert designing user flows, modern UI resulting in an awesome user experience. Specifically, we are looking at the following skills:Skills required:

1. Passion for web design.
   
2. HTML5 / CSS3 knowledge is a must
   
3. Knowledge of Javascript and frameworks (essentially jQuery)
   
4. Experience in wireframing tools
   
5. Understanding of cross browser compatibility and browser layout engines
   
6. Willingness to learn CSS frameworks like SASS or Less.
