We would like to develop an easy to use php/mysql interface and database for inputting existing recipes using the USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference, Release 25 ("FDA SR25") data standards indicated here:

Having data stored in this way will allow computation of nutritional information dynamically.

Our existing website has recipes stored as plain text in ingredient and direction fields:

We would like to create an interface easy enough for consumers to use to input their own recipes later, but also that would be useful to data enter our existing recipe database.  The interface should list recommendations that match partial text descriptions of ingredients, and should make robust interpretations of the measurement means.

A follow-up project will be to use this data to generate nutrition information for each recipe, once properly input, dynamically.

We are inviting proposals to quote estimated hours and rate to write a design specification for approval, as well as estimated hours to complete the design.  Please be sure to include links to samples of your work that demonstrate your ability. Once approved we will assign completion of this task.
