That's because A&L is always seeking creative, bright, passionate programmers looking for a place to show their chops and learn from other likewise talented people. However, we have an immediate opening for a developer with Ruby/Rails and Python experience.

All of our projects including this one are lead by developers, not suits. Long live great code.

You should have:

HTML5, Javascript
jQuery
Experience in one or more relational or NoSQL database systems
Python, and/or PHP
Experience with one or more modern MVC frameworks
OOP background (expert in at least one language and conversant in many)
Great written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have (but not necessary):

Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
Node.js or Backbone.js, CoffeeScript
Active use of Responsive Design techniques
Bachelor's degree or higher (including non Computer Science disciplines)

Other stuff we'd be happy to hear about:

Experience with mobile platforms (iOs, Android, BlackBerry)
Experience designing and building complex web applications
Experience with desktop app development
Open-source or recreational coding projects
