Freelancer for Web Design and Web Development Work... Ongoing

Budget: $500 to $1,000

Small but busy agency needing ongoing assistance with web design and web development projects.

Work will be available on an as needed basis, and we’d ask you to quote both cost and timescale for each job.

We’re looking for someone with excellent design skills, able to turn designs around quickly is also important.
We'd ideally like to work with a designer with english as their first language.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years professional web development and coding experience
• Expert knowledge of hand-coded HTML5, XHTML 1.0, and CSS3, including responsive layouts and web typography.
• Demonstrated understanding of standards-based coding, browser compatibility issues, graceful degradation in older browsers, and web constraints.

• Proficiency in Javascript and jQuery.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and photo editing for the web.
• Experience and knowledge of mobile css and coding for mobile devices.
• Experience working with PHP.
• Ability to test in major Mac and Windows browsers, and mobile browsers in at least iOS and Android.

• Familiarity with WordPress and Genesis framework a plus.
• Must provide a portfolio of working web sites.
• Have skype and be able to be paid via PayPal
