I run a website management service for a small, but growing number of UK based companies.
In order to grow the business I want to partner with someone who is capable and reliable. Currently there is 5-10 hours worth of work to be done each month, but I’m expecting this to increase in 2009.
The work usually includes making website content updates, fixing broken links and making design tweaks to existing sites, but will also include WordPress theme design, HTML forms, PHP/ASP coding and SEO from time to time. This is a job for a good all-rounder.
The sites I manage include a few static sites, some Joomla & WordPress sites, 2 e-commerce sites with third party shopping carts and more.
Skills should include: HTML/CSS, Javascript, PHP/mySQL, ASP, FTP and a good sense of humour.
Work will be on an adhoc basis and you will be required to make the majority of site changes within 24 hours. Communication will be via Basecamp/Skype/Email and you will discuss client needs only with me. No client interaction is required.
