Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for all network and security related issues - Take responsibility for the resolution of production issues - Participate in oncall rotation
Experience and Skills
- Must have advanced knowledge of network technologies including routing, switching and load-balancing - Strong experience with TCP/IP, DNS, OSPF, BGP - Hands-on experience with WAN network topologies and hardware (CSU/DSU, Private Line, Frame Relay, ATM, SONET)
- Detailed knowledge Netscreen Firewalls and VPN appliances, Cisco PIX Firewalls, Sourcefire IDS and Nessus scanner is a must - Knowledge RADIUS and TACACS useful. - Knowledge of Network Management tools such as Cisco Works, MRTG, and Network Analyzers is a plus
- Must be able to work unsupervised, be a self starter and well organized
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure atmosphere.
Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of industry experience in related area.
Certifications : CCNP or CCNA are a plus
This is a 12 month contract,
