Full Time Flash Developer For Kids MMO

An exciting Online Virtual World creator based in Los Angeles is looking for a flash developer with 2 years flash development experience. Experience creating code based animation and art, ability to work with a close group of creators, knowledge of integrating with back end technologies and external data sources is needed. You should be conversant in AS 2 and have extensive experience with AS 3. A good sense of style and game design would be very beneficial. Flash action scripting a must and on line media experience preferred.

Comp is commensurate with experience.

• 2 or more years of professional experience in developing Internet applications and Flash based games utilizing Flash, Flex, PHP, and XML
  
• 2 or more years of development experience with Adobe Flash
  
• Experience with source version control software and use of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
  
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle
  
• Thorough knowledge of Actionscript 3
  
• Extensive development experience using Flex Builder (this one is very important)
  *Extensive Experience with Flash CS3
  *Experience using source control software
  *Experience developing Enterprise level applications (very important)
  *Familiarity with Cairngorm Micro-architecture a plus
  *Experience building Flash-based games a plus
  *Experience with Smartfox Server or Electroserver a plus
