Freelance writers for web/blog

Budget: $500 to $1,000

I Am starting a website dedicated to the Hip-hop culture in DC, MD and VA. It will be 3 blogs intergrated into one social media site. 
1st blog - Will deal with DMV(DC,MD,VA) music, night life/concerts, fashion, sports, weekly/breaking news and local activities/attractions. This is going to be our flagship blog and the whole community will revolve around the content being produced from it. 
2nd blog - Will deal with urbanizing news. We want to provide a hip place for younger people to stay up to date with current events and breaking news(local, regional, national and world-wide).Music(regional, national) and sports news will also be a key feature of this blog. We want to engage younger people in un-biased news and actually make reading/watching the news something thats cool.This blog will also have a video news series.
3rd vlog/blog - Its going to be a video series thats really going to showcase the DMV Hip Hop Culture. 
What wee need - Web content, web copy, Blog and news reporter writers. Both staff and freelance. 
Experience - Is useful but not necessary. We to grow and help grow.
The website is currently under development and we are planning to launch in 6 weeks. This is a start-up and are looking for writers with like minded interest in growing a popular blog/social media site that focuses on our regional area of DC, MD and VA. We have an aggressive plan to monetize our site and offer competitive wages and commissions.
