Freelance Front-End Developer

Budget: $2,500 to $5,000

Carlson Communications, a national award-winning interactive marketing agency based in Northborough, MA is looking for a freelance front-end developer to help with projects on an as needed basis. For the right fit, this will be continuous work. Qualifications of the ideal candidate include experience in the following:

Must Haves:

- expertise with HTML/CSS/jQuery in all browsers (experience with IE fallbacks)
- experience with WordPress
- a passion to create high quality work and stay on top of the latest web technologies
- a good sense of design and an eye for the details (pixel-perfect coding)
- a positive attitude and enjoys working with a team
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
- high level of self-management and organizational skills

Extra skills that will make you stand out:

- Flash/ActionScript 2 and 3
- Experience with Magento as an E-Commerce platform
- Experience with Mobile and responsive design
- PHP and database knowledge
- E-Newsletter Experience (preferably with MailChimp)
- IA/UI/UX skills
