IQ Communications is seeking one or more well-organized, experienced video managers to supervise projects and interact with clients. Your job will be to manage client relationships, assemble a freelance team of creatives, and oversee production of 2-4 minute animated and live videos from project kickoff to delivery of final product. You will work on a wide variety of projects for our clients, with most seeking to create sales and/or informational videos for customers and constituents.
While this is a freelance position, we expect to have multiple assignments for good candidates on an ongoing basis. We will pay a flat free per project. No relocation required, but you must accommodate the schedules of our East Coast US home office, overseas production studios, and global clientele.

Responsibilities
•    Manage project scope, time, quality, and budget to meet objectives and deliverables
•    Create and communicate project plans and coordinate implementation, including progress tracking and reporting
•    Select and direct project teams, including script writer, voiceover artist, animator, videographers, and production studio
•    Prepare assignments for team members with goals, background, and reference materials; respond to questions and requests; review work and offer suggestions to improve quality
•    Manage client expectations and communications, including reviewing all deliverables with client and then conveying changes to team to ensure client satisfaction
•    Regularly update home office on project status, both in written and phone communications, with urgent problems immediately communicated
•    Suggest changes to our process to improve quality and efficiency

Requirements
•    Minimum of 5 years in project and client relationship management
•    Broad experience working in a creative production role, with specific experience in video projects
•    Experience assembling and managing freelance teams of creative and technical staff
•    Experience working with clients in a highly professional manner to anticipate and meet their needs and serve as a positive representative for a company
•    Excellent storytelling skills, creative eye, and good graphic design sense
•    Outstanding oral and interpersonal communication skills
•    Strong organizational skills
•    Ability to work quickly and efficiently, including the ability to multi-task and accommodate fast turnaround projects, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
•    Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
•    Ability to anticipate issues and proactively problem-solve
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but diligent about reporting up
•    Record of producing quality work and growing client relationships
•    Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-conferencing

Desired
•    Excellent writing skills, including ability to draft video scripts
•    Technical expertise in video production
