1Love Creative/Graphic Designer

The 1Love organization was established by the Bob Marley family and associated brands as a charitable giving platform that supports and markets select charities operating under our three pillars: Youth, Planet, and Peace.

The ideal candidate for this position must be committed to 1Love’s mission. We are looking for someone who possesses a creative spirit, wants to move 1Love to new heights, and is willing to push the boundaries of design and creativity.

About the Position:

Deliver timely high quality designs for print and web that align with 1Love’s vision, objectives, and campaigns
Communicate with 1Love’s Executive Director, Account Manager, Chief Technology Officer, Social Marketing Director, and vendors to discuss and execute projects and address issues that may arise

Responsibilities:

Independently develop high quality creative concepts that are consistent with 1Love’s mission and the goals of the Marley family and our associated brands
Perform duties of a creative designer, including designing for print and web and preparing presentations, microsites, and landing pages for 1Love and other Marley channels
Prepare and produce simple CMS system for websites and emails and basic HTML to integrate designs into 1Love and other Marley sites
Manage multiple projects and minimize timelines without sacrificing quality
Anticipate issues and develop contingency plans
Provide recommendations for art direction and marketing promotions
Offer copy for the web and design marketing promotions if requested

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor's degree (in graphic or art design or related field or comparable experience)
3+ years graphic design and/or conceptual experience
Proficient in Adobe Software (including Flash, DreamWeaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Microsoft Office

You are able to work remotely for this position, but you will need to provide your own computer. Pay is commensurate with experience and skill level.
