Editors Required for New Media Startup

Budget: $500 to $1,000

If your talented and looking to join new media start-up company and have an interest in Technology and mobile applications then look no further. We are currently looking for the following.

Editors- for the following area's of business : Technology, Apple IOS, Android, Blackberry, Nokia

Responsibilities will include

• overseeing the layout, appearance and content of feature articles;
• generating ideas for features ;
• commissioning articles from freelance and in-house writers;
• managing writing staff and freelance feature writers;
• editing and re-writing articles, some of which may be rejected or returned to the writer for revision;
• overseeing artwork, design and photography for the features section of the Site;
• selecting feature articles;
• sending out briefs to writers which can include word count, deadline, fee and writing style;
• proofreading  before going to press;
• raising the profile of the site;
• networking with others at industry events, twitter, facebook ;
• Helping to built social status Via Twitter Facebook and others
  

Experience in  Social Networks, Wordpress advantageous but not essential.
