  • We are currently looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to lead our in-house web design team at the ‘Flash Sale’ E-commerce Website, HomeSav.com home office in Toronto. This is a key role and represents an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and talented individual looking to take a lead role within a fast paced, creative company. 

  • The Web Graphic Designer is expected to take a lead role in the planning,design and implementation of long term changes and improvements to the design and functionality of the website. In addition he/she is expected to oversee all direct to customer web marketing campaigns and online/blog features.

  • The Graphic Designer Director is responsible for the design of the UI associated with all functional areas of the website. He/she will design all systems with a common look and feel using a combination of organizational branding and industry best practices for visually appealing web design. 

  • This is an opportunity to work with a talented team of creative individuals at HomeSav.com. This candidate must possess creative talent,experience, excellent management capabilities and strong leadership skills to inspire and direct a staff to produce the highest quality design work. Desired Skills & Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in web design and a solid understanding ofthe relationship between content, visual design, user interface and technology
  • Excellent visual design skills and outstanding design portfolio ofinteractive projects required
  • Strong experience with user interface design and graphic design
  • Providing input regarding modifications to their user interface& solution experience
  • Prior work at a home décor or fashion magazine is helpful but notnecessary.
  • Development of the following key artifacts:
  • User experience definition: Guidelines document defining user's UI/ solution experience in using the solutions
  • Wireframes definition: UI definitions and flow of UI
  • Final creative design: Mock-ups showing styling, images, text,navigation, containers, etc.
  • Providing feedback and input once the creative design isimplemented.
  • Own significant design and production responsibilities forsections of the site and new projects
