Freelance Wordpress Developer for premium theme

Budget: $500 to $1,000

We are looking for a freelance Wordpress/PHP/jQuery expert to help with development of a premium WP theme that will be sold online. We have already used our own design and front-end/PHP skills to build the bulk of the theme but are finding we lack the jQuery and advanced PHP skills to finish it.

The right person to help us finish our theme will:

  • Have lots of Wordpress development experience and be up to date on WP’s latest capabilities
  • Have expert-level PHP and jQuery skills
  • Have experience with writing advanced shortcodes and widgets
  • Have experience with using frameworks (in this case, Skeleton responsive framework)
  • Have experience with either OptionTree or Options Framework
  • Be comfortable using git for version control
  • Be fast, efficient and write VERY clean code using our established conventions
  • Be extremely reliable, meet deadlines, and stay in prompt communication with us
  • Be available to start immediately

Even better if you:
  • Have developed premium WP themes in the past
  • Are interested in ongoing freelance work or possibly partnership
About us:
We are a 2-person team on the West coast, one part designer/front-end developer and one part front-end developer/PHP newbie. We’ve been told we’re easy to work with and are trustworthy/reliable - you should be too. Most of our communication will take place online via email/Skype so it’s not necessary that you live anywhere nearby.

The payment for this project will be flat-rate-project-based, not hourly. If you are interested, please send us your qualifications (see below). If we feel you’d be a good fit we’ll send you a list of project tasks which you may use to provide us an estimate/quote. Deadlines will be established based on our schedule and your schedule (in other words, while we want to get this project done ASAP we also understand that you may not be able to commit 100% of your time solely to us).
