Our home health agency is seeking a motivated and experienced grant writer for our Telehealth Program in Monterey County, CA. We are a for-profit organization. The grants we would be applying for would directly go to the utilization and support of our Telehealth Program.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Work closely with Director of Telehealth Programs through the entire contract
•Manage the research, writing and submission of all grant applications
•Ensure applications are well-written, accurate and compliant with the requirements of the funding opportunities with minimal supervision and completed in a timely manner.
•Generates letters of intent and supporting documentation in response to Telehealth grant opportunities
•Analyzing Telehealth grant requirements in order to write, answer, organize and submit grant applications
•Researching product specific information and applying research for Telehealth grants
•Distinguish and identify funding opportunities for Telehealth Programs
 

Requirements/Essential Skills
•Must have a minimum of 5 years’ of grant writing experience in healthcare industries
•Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 3-5 years of experience creating grants; including demonstrated success at securing of grant funds
•Accuracy with work, attention to detail and strong analytical, organizational, verbal, research, communication written and time management skills
•Committed to the potential outcome of the success of our program
•Ability to work with senior management
•Adaptability and flexibility are required;  and ability to work under pressure to meet grant deadlines
•Experience working as a contractor
