Backend Developer / Software Engineer

This listing is for a startup looking to assemble a team of software engineers to develop social software closely integrated with the Facebook platform. More information on the company, clients, etc will be provided upon inquiry. 

Hires for this position will be joining a group of seasoned and successful marketers, entrepreneurs and developers on the forefront of social application development and social media marketing. 

This is a full-time position and is based in our Boulder, CO office. Telecommuters will be considered. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the social environment and the ability to interpret software prototypes and concepts. This will be a collaborative environment led by a software architect.  

Skills/Requirements

• Create web applications using primarily PHP
  
• Implement web interfaces using HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery
  
• Build report interfaces and data feeds
  
• Thorough knowledge of Facebook APIs and e-commerce applications
  

• Minimum of four years experience in related field/industry
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, or related field
  
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  
• Bonus: Experience using GitHub
