Ursa Minor provides world-class branding and web solutions to an international clientele of organizations working to expand human potentials and solve global problems.

We are headquartered in San Francisco. However, as a virtual company, our team works from various locations around the world via web meetings and online collaboration tools.

The Job(s)

We are currently seeking a talented Drupal Developer to perform the role of Lead Developer for a multi-site Drupal eCommerce project, starting January, 2012.

The Developer is responsible for:

  • - Installing, configuring, and customizing Drupal, modules, and co-building theme files, based on provided .psd files. (A senior designer and front-end developer will also be assigned to the team.)
  • - Ensuring Build Quality by designing elegant, clean, and efficient custom code, integration of all elements, including third-party services such as MailChimp and PayPal, ensuring good commenting and W3C compliance.
  • - Working with our Designer and Producer, develop and implement features based on provided wireframes, use cases, and flow diagrams
  • - Install, test and debug completed solution for IE7+, FF, Chrome, and Safari; during post-launch, address minor changes or fixes as may be required.

Payment

The work will be offered to independent freelance contractors on an hourly work-for-hire engagement (You would not be an employee or agent of the company).

Qualifications

- 3+ years web development - HTML[5], CSS[3], Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, LAMP
- Expert level custom Drupal development - Expert level Drupal custom eCommerce development
- 1+ years administering CMS software, particularly Drupal
- Excellent organization, creative problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills - Highly professional, proactive, dependable and responsive
- Interest in Integral Theory, Desire to change the world a plus
