We work with a range of clients, large and small, producing websites and web applications.
We are looking for full-time freelance PHP Developers with a solid understanding of PHP 5 / MySQL and experience with Open Source CMS development and integration. You must have atleast 3 years of web development experience.
Ideally the candidate should be well versed with :
1) XHTML / CSS – Strict and valid (W3C).
2) Javascript – Fast and reusable javascript code.
3) PHP 5 – Good OOP skills are a must. Must know PDO.
4) MySQL – Well versed with optimizing queries, and creating normalized tables. Preferably should know MySQL 5 features like Views, Procedures and Triggers
5) Linux – Comfortable with command line. You will not be needed to debug or install anything, but you must know your way around if needed
It is preferable if you know the following as well :
1) Wordpress – Creating themes, creating and installing plugins, bug fixing open source plugins etc.
2) Drupal – Themes, modules and all. The more the merrier.
3) AJAX is preferable.
4) Mootools and JQuery.
You will take on a range of work from HTML/CSS conversion to modules to entire web projects. We are interested in building an ongoing working relationship with freelancers with the right skills and positive attitude.
Location is not an issue. We work hard and fast so applicants need to be self-motivated, professional, disciplined and communicative.
