Logo and Website Design - Engineering Services/Training Company

Hi - 
We are an engineering services and training company - with focus on the energy business. We need a design guru to ensure 
* We appear different from staid engineering/training companies - we have to showcase a blend of youth and experience. 
* We offer several complex product groups and services - we need to ensure that clients can actually get to seeing these without clicking through multiple layers, and also order (or inquire about) them quickly 
* We are also seeking to modify our current logo to something more modern and fluid, and conveys strength engineering. 
In future, we can expand the engagement to include print identity. 
For now, you should bid for logo redesign and getting a website template (prefer Joomla, but you can present arguments for other CMSes). You should have the ability to convert engineering processes or concepts into simpler, friendly illustrations (currently we use stock photos).
You can be based anywhere, but should comfortable communicating in English.
