The company MonGrandChef.com - the eBay for Chefs We are opening the internet market to those chefs who want more from their career, allowing them to deliver their delicious dishes straight to private individuals and companies.
MonGrandChef.com embodies the revolution of the food delivery market, by proposing a high-quality and freshly prepared alternative to boring mass-produced takeaways. We are connecting in real time the customers with the chefs, allowing them to order online directly from our website.
The company is currently being founded in Paris. We already have cool offices close to the Tour Eiffel and we are working full-time on the project since last month.
We are now looking for a talented developer to start coding this exciting adventure.
After the launch in France we plan to expand to other western countries very quickly.
  Your responsibilities
You will be the chief architect of the whole project, supported by other freelancers to speed up the project advancement.
You will be responsible for building a robust social media integrated platform allowing international scaling. Innovation will be key, that’s why we need a technically great open-minded talent to join the team. We will expect you to suggest new functionalities and you will be free to test them. What we want is the best website in the food industry providing a unique user experience, so feel free to experiment every new technology you think it’s appropriate.
 
Skills As technical requirements, we will need:

• Site: JavaScript and Ruby (compulsory)
  
• Server: Nginx, Node.js, Connect et Express avec MongoDB, MySQL (compulsory)
  
• Mobile app: ExtJS & Sencha Touch (a plus)
  

We really care about creating a great mood within the team and we want somebody who can make a good fit with us. We are all young (23-25 years old), dynamic and ambitious, with an international background. Good communication skills in English are required, while French is a plus.
We are looking forward to meet somebody with a good entrepreneurial spirit, the obviously we will give you instructions on the priorities of the different tasks.
Also design skills are welcome.
A good portfolio of previously created websites is necessary.
 
The offer We look for a full-time employee with an internship or a CDD for 6+ months. The negotiations about remuneration will be starting from 2000 € per month.
We are also interested in freelance full-time developers from a compatible time zone.After the first 4-6 months there is the possibility to extend the contract or to relocate to France for an higher salary.
