Social Media / New Media Consultant Needed

Budget: $1,000 to $2,500

We are an established Digital Solutions company with a start-up mentality looking for a New Media/Social Media Consultant. 
The project includes helping our nation-wide clients build social media and new media strategies, performing monthly analysis of their Facebook pages and email blasts, monitor weekly trends and provide insight and analysis (we have community managers already in place) and helping our firm identify new media opportunities that will best help our clients most effectively reach their target demographic.  
This project starts in December for a 3-month trial engagement and requires approximately 10 hours per week.  There is potential that this project will lead to more work on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities

• Work with our strategy team to help determine appropriate social media strategies for our clients.
  
• Lead development of social media goal-setting
  
• Identify new media and social media trends that our clients should be using
  
• Prepare memos and reports on the changing landscape of social media – for example - the new Facebook timeline feature
  
• Develop monthly reports (we’ll provide the base report) on the effectiveness of social campaigns and provide ongoing optimization recommendations
  
• Provide input on new and existing processes and procedures based on industry best practices
  
• Provide guidance on appropriate tracking services and methodologies
  
• Provide insight to new digital trends
  

• Demonstrated understanding of social media and can help develop and justify agency recommendations
  
• Bachelors degree
  
• 1 – 3 years experience as an Social Media/New Media Consultant
  
• Samples or portfolio of work in the field
  
• An entrepreneurial spirit with strong time management skills
  
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, virtual environment
