The CMS
Keyword for CMS is: flexible and scaleable.
Technical platform is not decided yet, but we are very interested in .net technology. Could be .netnuke, Umbraco or similar.
Anyway if not .net technology is your thing; as long as the technology is efficient and flexible, and scalable there are several adequate technologies out there that might be just as good. It could be Joomla, Drupal and others.
We have called the work to complete the first launch for the site for Phase1.
Phase 1 needs these modules: File archive Content with subscription options Role based security access and control Picture Archive Organization module (for teachers) Language controls (English, Spanish, + +) Blog and articles Registering of subscriptions Dynamic template controls to make and add information containers on site. Search functions (article search, blog article search, course search, site search) F.A.Q Streaming of audio and video (Flash video and audio, wmv or qt, mp3) Wysiwyg editor Anti spam measurements
Phase 2 Intra and extranet Questionnaires Wiki International membership database
Tracking of names and email addresses received through forms etc, on site to membership database.
