I need a Flash Developer that can do the following:

1. Create a simple, scalable Flash player (like the BBC recently did: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7290322.stm or something similar)
2. Convert .mov files into Flash videos
3. Reporting: Either integrate Omniture’s ActionScript into the file(s) or use their own scripts to provide data back to me on activity (views, pauses, stops, etc.).
4. Be available during normal EST business hours for quick video adjustments (i.e. make changes to overlay images)

The Background

I have an online publishing client that is using video on more of their ad related micro sites. This requires that they show their ad clients what kind of activity the videos are receiving. My client, the online publisher, uses Omniture for their web analaytics. So, being able to report back into Omniture would be ideal. It would make their report gathering much easier and less infrastructure management on my/our part. Omniture offers documentation on integrating their ActionScript into Flash videos.

What I Expect from You

I’m looking for a professional, courteous, open minded and mature person to partner with on delivering this service to my client.

This would be an on going relationship. You would be my video person. As far as my client is concerned, they think you work for me—but you would most likely not interact with them. There may be times they need a quick fix to an overlay or a new .mov file will come in that needs to go up ASAP. I need you to be flexible at these moments. These will be rare, but I need to know you’re willing to work with me to meet my clients needs.

You need to be a seasoned freelance/contract professional. I need to know you’re in this for the long haul, at least a year. I need you to be around during EST business hours.

Who I Am

I’m a freelance front-end web developer. I do mostly PSD to XHTML conversions and maintain sites for various clients. I’ve been doing this for 7 years now.
