the creative department at kate spade is looking for a freelance graphic designer to work on a wide range of projects including design of direct mail pieces, artwork for retail store windows and temporary barricades. other projects include designing tabletop, stationery and package design.

a qualified candidate should be a creative thinker with excellent design and typography skills. candidate should also be a team player, focused, detail-oriented and organized, excellent at taking direction, exhibit enthusiasm, and have the ability to multi-task and handle the pressures of a fast-paced environment.

qualifications: • strong communication design skills • strong design and typography skills • strong illustration skills (preferred) • strong presentation skills (such as comping) • knowledge and understanding of print production processes • expert level in illustrator, indesign, and photoshop • mac proficient
