Be a part of one of the leading and most prestigious TV and Broadcast Media organizations in the Washington, DC area. This organization is building Interactive Online User Experiences to compliment TV programming consisting of games, puzzles, on-demand video, user-generated content, shareable widgets, blogs, forums, the works.

Act as creative lead / Flash Designer, which includes internet video delivery, interactive games, and web interfaces for children.

Responsibilities • Act as design lead • Execute wireframes, comps, and designs for video player • Write Flash & Actionscript for video player and integrate with existing Actionscript • Hand-code HTML, CSS, XML • Work closely and collaborate with other members of Interactive creative, editorial, technical and promotions teams in multiple projects • Work closely and collaborate with outside video player vendor • Ability to critique and provide feedback on wireframes and designs to both designers and non-designers • Produce and optimize feature graphics • Ability to create on-air graphics and animation • Stay up to date on the latest production techniques and issues

Requested • Bachelors Degree in art, design or related field preferred • Experience in Web design role; superior knowledge of Web graphic formats and optimization; intelligent page-building skills • Experience in on-air graphics production role • Extreme proficiency in Actionscript & Adobe Flash CS3 • Evidence of design & production skills demonstrated in Web portfolio • Experience in interface and information design

Technical Skills • Adobe Flash CS3 • ActionScript 2 / 3 • Adobe Photoshop CS3 • Adobe Illustrator CS3 • Hand-coding HTML, CSS, and or XML • Familiarity with video editing software
