A little about me: I’ve been an independent contractor since 2002 and have worked on numerous websites and software systems. I have BS in Media and Information Technology with a minor in Computer Science and a MS in Software Engineering, both of which I received from the University of Scranton. Web Development is a passion of mine- I've been doing it since High School and love the challenges and rewards that come with it. I also think it's important to stay up on the changing technologies, and most importantly, do what's best for the user. If you don't a great user experience, you don't have a great website.

    In the latest iteration of my personal site, I tried out some new design techniques, a new font stack, and did some very cool coding with the Twitter API and parsing RSS feeds.

    For this project, I took a single PSD file and converted it into a fully functional WordPress website, complete with custom forms and an easy way to download the election sign. The PSD was supplied by affiliate web designer Alan Laick.
